The Trounson-Bullen Collection includes an extensive photographic collection comprising some 8000 photographs, many of which are unique. These photographs offer a visual insight into the mining industry of Cornwall from the late 19th Century to the present day.
Whilst the 'Mining In Cornwall' series of books is gradually making these photographs accessible to those interested in Cornish mining history, it is unlikely that all the photographs in the collection will be published in this form. In the future it is hoped to provide an internet-based database of the photographs with draft versions for viewing and private study. Copies of photographs may then be ordered via the web-site.
